The
Rayon d'Or is named
after the world's first deluxe dining
service which flew between Paris and
London in the late 1920's.
The Café Rayon
d'Or was originally based
here in Airport House, the first purpose-built airport
in the world
which was opened officially in May 1928 and served
as London's first International Airport.
Today, the
Rayon d'Or welcomes you in celebrating a very special
place
in gastronomic history of aviation!
The whole family can now enjoy a Traditional
Family Sunday Roast Lunch.
The perfect Sunday day out with the family!
