CIVIL CEREMONIES
We are licensed to
hold civil wedding ceremonies in both our historic
Booking Hall and also in two smaller suites. We are
able to offer a Wedding Ceremony Only Package, which
includes Room Hire and a Flower Display to your specification.

your reception with us at Airport House, we are able
to offer a discounted Wedding Ceremony Package rates:

GUIDELINES
Venue The
Booking Hall, Charles Lindbergh and Amy Johnson Suites
are licensed by the local authority for the purpose
of civil wedding ceremonies. A £100 deposit
is required to secure a room, once the Registrar confirms
the ceremony. The balance of the account is payable
30 days prior to the event.
Numbers A maximum of 150 guests can
be accommodated on a seated basis in the Booking Hall
and 25 Charles Lindbergh or Amy Johnson Suites, in
a format agreed under the terms of our licence.
Arrival Times The Groom should
attend a pre-marriage interview with the Registrar
at least 30 minutes before the ceremony. Guests may
arrive from 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. All
guests should be seated no later than 5 minutes prior
to the ceremony.
Confetti All Confetti is permitted
Food & Drink No food or drink
may be served to or consumed by the bridal party and
their guests in the Booking Hall under the terms of
our wedding license.
Blessings It may be possible, on
certain occasions, to have a blessing after the civil
ceremony. However, this must be at a time separate
to the civil ceremony and not whilst the Superintendent
Registrar is till in attendance. It must not follow
the form of any religious marriage service or ceremony.
Rights to Halt During the civil ceremony,
if requirements of the Superintendent Registrar are
not met, the Registrar can decide not to proceed with
the ceremony. At other times, should events take place
outside of the arrangements made between the couple
and Airport House, we reserve the right to halt proceedings.
Registrar’s Fees These are
in addition to any sums quoted and must be dealt with
direct with the Superintendent Registrar.
